Kelly McVeigh is the Manager for NJDOT’s Bureau of Traffic Engineering South with over 13 years of experience working for the New Jersey Department of Transportation. During that time, Kelly gained experience in various traffic management and operations practices, specializing in traffic signal operations design and management. Currently, Kelly leads the NJDOT Intelligent Traffic Signal System program, which aims to improve traffic signal system monitoring and operational capabilities by expanding adaptive and controlled traffic signals. Kelly received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Rowan University in 2011, where he was introduced to Transportation Engineering, which would spark further interest in the world of Transportation Systems Management and Traffic Engineering.
